A medical emergency can happen to anyone at anytime.  You can’t predict, but you can prepare!

 

 

Here is a list of things you can do now:

 

Make sure your house number or name can be clearly seen from the road

 

Learn some basic first aid

 

 

 

Here is a list of things you can do after calling for an ambulance:

 

At night, turn on all lights in rooms facing the road and open the curtains.  Make your house stand out like a beacon!

 

If possible, have someone wait outside to meet the ambulance.

 

Put all animals out of the way.

 

Collect all the casualties medications together.
